The New Pass Myth: Years ago a fisherman was camping in
the area when a hurricane came through Sarasota.
Upon rising out of the storm, he exclaimed "Ah,A New Pass!".
Thus the name New Pass was created along with an old fish camp that he
established. Now, thats our story - And thats what we wanted to make it. |
When I did the boats I did them as if a hurricane blew them around and
they were left there sticking out of the walls since the begining.

| Murals can transform an ordinary wall or building, transporting it from 'boring' to another time and/or place. The process begins in the imagination when the artist sees something different when he looks at the blank canvas of the ordinary. Please return to the Murals page to see more of these transformations. |
