"A River for Isibell" Isibell lives on the beautiful Myakka river in south Sarasota Fl. She has a great view of the river out of one side of her living room but she wanted to see the other side as well. I took a look at what the other side looked like and very softly painted it in a monochromatic yellow and sage on the entire living room wall. Isibell now has an almost panoramic view of her lil' river. Mural is approximately 9 feet x 20 feet. |

"Cheri's Romance" Cheri saw a painting on a cruise ship that brought back romantic memories of her and her husbands beginnings. She wanted both of them to be in that painting and have it in her game room as an element of romance surprise and color. I changed the painting to suit Cheris wishes. The painting was approximately 24"x30", while the mural is approximately 7 feet x 5 feet. ![]() |

"Marleen's Garden Piazza" Marleen & Lewis live in a condo on Longboat key Fl. {small but quaint} Marleen wanted her dining room wall to open up to a Mediterranean style garden. We gave her and Lewis open doors to a garden piazza complete with a vine filled trellis, flowers, statuary, palm Trees and urns filled with red geraniums. A mural can really open up a small space and add allot of interest. The mural is approximately 7 feet x 12 feet. ![]() |

"The Reading Room" David Shapiro and Ron Goldman have a historical home as their law office in downtown Sarasota, Florida. David is really into antiques and good ole' history. He wanted a library feel for his downstairs bathroom but he wanted it to be fun as well as interesting. I designed and painted a window with a view surrounded by book shelves with accessories to go in the space. I also painted a wains coating in dark wood over the existing paneling. Dave made a list of fun titles of books to go in the library and I painted them as if they were collections of law books. We added some plants, a globe and of course the scales of justice, and there ya have it, a bathroom transformed into "The Reading Room". The mural is the entire room. ![]() |
| Murals can transform an ordinary wall or room by bringing it to another time and/or place. The process begins in the imagination when the artist sees something different when he looks at the blank canvas of the ordinary. Please return to the Murals page to see more of these transformations. |
